The Opportunity We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant (Finance Business Partner) to join our Support Systems Group in Adelaide. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in supporting accurate and timely financial reporting across the Torrens Health Group of Companies. This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and wants to contribute to an organisation that genuinely makes a difference in people's lives. Ideally, we are looking for someone available from Tuesday 9 June through to Friday 11 September. What You'll Be Doing
- Managing month and year-end financial reporting across the Torrens Health Group
- Assisting with budget monitoring, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Handling bank account reconciliation and receipting, including intercompany transactions
- Managing NDIS revenue, government portal claims, and timely billing of support services
- Supporting year-end audit preparation and regulatory compliance (BAS, Payroll Tax, Workcover, FBT)
- Overseeing fixed asset and depreciation management
- Following up overdue accounts and assisting with debt collection where needed
- Providing guidance on Accounts Payable processing and GL code allocation
- Identifying process improvement opportunities and driving corrective action
- Liaising with internal stakeholders across finance, operations, and executive leadership What We're Looking For Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance
- Current driver's licence Experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar finance role
- Background working across diverse teams in a fast-paced environment
- Exposure to supervisory or management responsibilities is an advantage Skills and Attributes

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
