Position: Part time Cafe food handler and Cafe all-rounder
Hours Required:
Monday-4:00 AM
- 12:00 PM
Tuesday-Thursday -5:00 AM
- 12:00 PM
Saturday: 7:30 AM
- 12:00 PM

Responsibilities:
About the role:
Cafe food handler-
Start early (4-5am) to prepare fresh breakfast items, including sandwiches, bacon & egg rolls, and other grab-and-go options.
Take responsibility for opening the store and setting up for the day.
Maintain excellent food safety and hygiene standards while handling ingredients and equipment.
From around 6am, transition to front-of-house service: greeting customers, taking orders, and keeping the café tidy.
Assist with general duties to keep the kitchen and café running smoothly.
Cafe All-rounder-
Cash Handling: Accurately manage cash transactions and maintain cash register balances.
Cleaning Duties: Ensure that the shop, including our terrace, is clean and tidy at all times. This includes daily cleaning tasks and maintaining overall hygiene standards.
Customer Service: Provide excellent service to our customers, including taking orders and answering any coffee-related questions.
Coffee Education: Staff will receive training and education on all things coffee-related to enhance their knowledge and service quality.
Requirements:
Previous café, kitchen, or food-handling experience preferred (but training provided for the right person).
Ability to work early mornings reliably.
Strong focus on food safety and cleanliness.
Friendly and qualified customer service skills.
A team player who’s also confident working independently during opening hours.
