**About the chance**: As a People and Safety Administrator, you will play a crucial role in providing human resources administration, payroll, recruitment and procurement support to the People, Safety, and ICT team. Collaborating closely with the People Adviser, you will support recruitment and payroll services and play a vital role in maintaining a positive and productive workplace.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Safety Commitment**: Demonstrate commitment to safety, environmental sustainability, and equal opportunity objectives
- **Administrative Support**: Provide general administrative support to the People and Safety team, including payroll services, reporting and compliance
- **Recruitment Assistance**: Support the People Adviser with recruitment processes, advertising, interviews, and reference checks
- **Onboarding**: Assist in the onboarding process for new employees
- **Procurement and Coordination**: Support the Safety Manager and ICT Project Coordinator with document production, system administration, procurement, and scheduling
- **Training Development**: Contribute to the development of HR, WHS, and ICT training materials as required
**Requirements**: **Qualifications and Skills**:
- Human Resources or Business Administration qualifications (highly regarded but not essential)
- Work Health and Safety qualifications (highly regarded but not essential)
- 12 months+ experience in a similar role preferred, but graduates without experience will be considered
- You will have strong oral and written communication skills, time management, organisational, and problem solving skills
- You will demonstrate initiative and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- You will have a high level of ICT literacy and be proficient with MS Office Suite
- You will be able to work autonomously and demonstrate a methodical and practical approach
- You will demonstrate excellent attention to detail and accuracy

**Benefits**
- Base salary between $60,000
- $70,000 per annum (plus 11% superannuation)
