**About Us**

Para Para Lavender is an emerging lavender farm located on a picturesque heritage

property in South Australia. We are passionate about sustainable horticulture and

producing handcrafted, small-batch products. As we prepare for future public open days

and continued growth, we're seeking a skilled and reliable part-time gardener to join our

team.

**About the Role**

Working 8 hours per week, the gardener will assist with:

- General garden and landscape maintenance
- Plant health, pruning, and propagation
- Irrigation system operation and troubleshooting
- Soil improvement, composting, and mulch maintenance
- Weed, pest, and disease control
- Operating basic horticultural machinery
- Nursery plant care and fencing repairs
- Maintaining a safe and tidy work setting

**Skills & Experience**

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Certificate III in Horticulture or relevant experience
- First Aid Certificate
- Current Police Check
- Valid Australian Driver’s Licence
- Australian Citizenship

**Essential Skills**:

- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks safely
- Knowledge of irrigation, plant health, and nursery operations
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a small team
- High standards for safety, confidentiality, and work ethic

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $24.95
- $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week
