Pellet Mill Operator & Maintenance Fitter (Gawler)

Chandler Macleod are currently seeking applications from experienced Pellet Mill Operators and Maintenance Fitters for ongoing roles with our client in feed manufacturing , based in Wasleys / Far Northern Adelaide . These roles offer long‐term stability within a modern manufacturing environment, with full‐time hours and rotating or day‐shift arrangements depending on the position. The ideal candidates will have prior experience in manufacturing or industrial environments and demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, quality, and reliable production outcomes. Essential Requirements (Both Roles) Full working rights in Australia Current driver's licence and own reliable transport Robust attention to detail and focus on safe work practices Sound understanding of OH&S; and environmental policies Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly Basic computer and reporting skills Availability for full‐time work (including weekends and overtime where required) Important Biosecurity Requirement To be considered, you or anyone in your household must not currently work in a poultry processing environment. Pellet Mill Operator Requirements Minimum 5 years' experience in manufacturing (feed or similar industry preferred) Experience operating pelleting mills, hammermills, or grinding processes Forklift licence (LF) Ability to manage production output and coordinate out‐loading Experience conducting QA checks (including pellet size and quality compliance) Strong record‐keeping and inventory reporting skills Willingness to participate in hygiene, sanitation, and routine maintenance activities Competitive rate of $43 + penalties Availability for rotating shifts starting at 7am or 7pm Desirable BI boiler licence Maintenance Fitter Requirements Cert III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade Proven experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance environment Confined Space ticketFirst Aid / CPR High Risk Licence (LF) Ability to perform preventative and reactive maintenance Strong fault‐finding and equipment repair skills Experience working within permit systems and safety procedures competive rate of $45
