Job Title: Infant Room Leader

Location: Little Shining Stars, Evanston

Position Overview: Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the daily operations of the infant room, ensuring a high standard of care and education.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate programs and activities that support the physical, emotional, and cognitive development of infants.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with families and maintain open communication regarding their child's progress and needs.
- Ensure that the infant room meets all regulatory requirements and adheres to the center's policies and procedures.
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of educators, fostering a positive and team-oriented working environment.
- Monitor and assess the developmental progress of each child, making adjustments to programs as needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised environment that promotes health and well-being.

Qualifications:

- Diploma or higher qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care.
- Proven experience working with infants in an early childhood setting.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- A deep understanding of child development principles and practices.
- Current First Aid, CPR, and Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications.
- A valid Working with Children Check.

Pay: $26.10
- $36.70 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Morning shift
- Shift work
