HC Truck Driver/Machine Operator (Geelong)

BC Garden Construction is a commercial landscaping company that services the Geelong and surrounding regions and is looking for an experienced HC Truck Driver/Machine Operator to join our expanding company. Our large variety of works include, but are not limited to, site cuts, garden bed and turf preparation, concrete pathway preparation, spreading and screeding of materials, large rock placement, footings, drainage, post hole augering, slashing, rotary hoeing, using various machine attachments, carting materials and floating machines. The successful candidate will be adaptable as the role will involve extended periods either truck driving or operating our range of machines including excavators, skid steer & front end loader. They will have an eye for detail and an excellent work ethic, must be punctual, reliable and be able to work by themselves on occasions. Key Responsibilities
- Operate HC trucks to transport materials, equipment, and machinery to job sites
- Operate machinery such as excavators, loaders, and other landscaping equipment
- Ensure all vehicles and machinery are maintained and operated safely
- Follow company safety procedures and site regulations Requirements
- Valid Heavy Combination Truck Licence (Non-synchro)
- Dog trailer and floating experience essential
- Excavator, & Front End Loader Skid Steer tickets
- Current valid Excavator, Skid Steer & Front End Loader tickets are required at application
- White Card (Construction Induction)
- Working With Children Check (Or willing to obtain)
- Strong work ethic and reliability
