Accounts Payable (Geelong)

We are committed to producing quality affordable homes tailored to the needs of our customers servicing Melbourne’s North, Western, South East and the Geelong areas. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced person to join the team in our Accounts Department as an accounts payable officer. You will possess strong attention to detail, ability to process high volume invoices with accuracy, whilst ensuring company policies and procedures are followed. You will be a focused person who thrives in a fast pace and dynamic environment, continually meets deadlines and enjoys dealing with different stakeholder groups both internal and external. The Role Within this role you will be responsible for but not limited to:
- High volume end to end processing of creditor invoices
- Timely processing of supplier payments
- Reconciliation of suppliers and general ledger accounts
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders as required to resolve any issues or queries.
- Assist the accounts team as required to ensure smooth functioning of the whole team.
- Other adhoc tasks required by team leader or manager. Success Factors
- Minimum 1 year hands on accounts experience
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Positive attitude with ability to build solid working relationships across various stakeholder groups.
- Prior experience in the construction industry is highly regarded
