I am partnered with a Federal Government Agency, in the heart of Geelong to recruit an APS5 Digital Media Producer for a 12-month, full time temporary assignment with the potential to extend. **Your recent role**

The APS5 Digital Media Producer will be required to undertake activities and tasks using available information where options are not always evident. It will be required to perform procedural, clerical, administrative and operational tasks that support and contribute to objectives.

**Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to**:

- Producing video content in accordance with the Video Style and Brand Guidelines, for distribution across a range of digital platforms.
- Managing technical production requirements including camera operation, lighting and sound recording.
- Organising and directing shoots includes interviewing participants, staff and members of the public.
- Completing post-production tasks including video editing using Adobe and Premiere Pro, motion graphics (Adobe After Effects), colour grading, media encoding and platform delivery.
- Providing technical and creative advice, supporting the pre-production process.
- Managing content storage and archiving.
- Supporting the development and management of the Video Recording Studio.

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be successful as the APS5 Digital Media Producer, you will need to provide evidence of the following:
- Advanced Professional Video / 4K camera operation-including in a studio environment.- High level audio capture skills using all types of microphones (cabled, wireless)- Advanced multi-cam video editing skills-using Adobe Creative suite software- Advanced video brief preparation skills-ability to ideate and detail creative ideas- In depth knowledge of video production workflows and video publishing standards and formats- Ability to ideate and detail creative ideas for video- High level interpersonal skills- Intermediate to advanced animation skills using Premiere and After effects.
- Australian Citizenship
