Employment Type: Casual Hours: Casual Location: Mercy Place Rice Village Upload with application: Resume, cover letter, and all relevant qualifications Contact: Narelle Grech, About the prospect As a Cleaner, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene standards of our facility, ensuring the well‑being and comfort of elderly residents. You will perform routine cleaning tasks such as mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing common areas, resident rooms, and restrooms. You will ensure the aged care home is cleaned and maintained in accordance with prescribed routines and infection control guidelines. What you’ll bring You will provide reliable, resilient support with compassion and empathy towards elderly residents. To thrive in this role, you should have:
- Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping roles
- Ability to work independently and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards
- A sense of compassion & empathy towards elderly residents
- Experience working in aged care or health environment (desirable but not essential) You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
- National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Clearance
