Cleaner - Day shift (Geelong)

Description: Your new role: You will be responsible for ensuring that the factory and office environments in our Geelong facility are maintained in a clean and hygienic manner and that cleaning supplies are managed efficiently across the facilities. Day shift hours
- Mondays to Fridays with a 6am start time. Your role will include ensuring:
- Ensure the factory and office are cleaned in accordance with daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
- Clean all wet areas, bathrooms, sinks and benches in accordance with cleaning schedule.
- Clean areas with appropriate cleaning agents and wipe frequently to ensure a high standard of hygiene in the bathroom facilities.
- Empty rubbish bins from office and shop floor areas into the appropriate waste bins.
- Clean shop floor surfaces including using the floor scrubbing machine.
- Ensure kitchens and lunch spaces are maintained and kept clean, including loading and unloading of dishwashers.
- Ensure meeting rooms are cleaned and maintained in a tidy manner.
- Ensure hygiene standards are maintained across the office areas and high touch points are regularly disinfected and cleaned.
- Sweep, mop and/or vacuum floors in accordance with the daily and weekly cleaning schedule.
- Ensure all cleaning agents and/or chemicals are stored and maintained using safe handling methods.
- Ensure floors are regular cleaned and free of any spills. Skills and Experiences: About You: As an ideal candidate you will have:
- Previous experience in cleaning within a factory and office environment is essential.
- Ability to maintain daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
- Knowledge of safe handling and storage of cleaning agents and cleaning chemicals.
- Strong attention to detail.
