Home Support Officer – Calvary Aged Care The Home Support Officer is based in Grovedale, VIC, Australia and is a permanent full‑time position. About The Role This role involves supporting the Home Manager with day‑to‑day administrative tasks to ensure smooth delivery of customer care. You will act as the first point of contact for clients, residents and staff, providing courteous reception and administrative support. Responsibilities
- Ensure clear and timely administrative activities to support customer care.
- Facilitate communication with residents, their representatives and other stakeholders regarding office administration requirements.
- Handle reception duties, including answering phones, greeting visitors/contractors and managing appointments.
- Assist with walk‑in inquiries and record them appropriately. Qualifications
- Well‑developed interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to providing high‑quality customer service and a genuine interest in the elderly.
- Attention to detail, multitasking abilities and effective time‑management skills.
- Proficiency in contemporary IT applications and platforms (MS Office, Teams, etc.) and willingness to learn new ones.
- Organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritise work independently and as part of a team. Desirable
- Previous experience in aged/health care.
- Experience with rostering and payroll using Kronos.
- Qualifications in administration. Benefits
