Job Description – Senior Snowflake Architect Senior Snowflake Architect with strong client‑facing experience, responsible for architecting end‑to‑end Snowflake data platforms and leveraging Snowpark for advanced in‑warehouse processing. We are looking for a Senior Snowflake Data Platform Architect who can work directly with clients to design and architect end‑to‑end Snowflake‑based data platforms. The role requires robust architectural ownership, deep Snowflake expertise, and hands‑on familiarity with Snowpark for advanced data processing and analytics use cases. This is not a pure development role—the focus is on solution architecture, design decisions, and client engagement. Key Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end architecture design for Snowflake data platforms.
- Work closely with clients to:
- Understand business requirements.
- Translate them into scalable Snowflake architectures, including raw, curated, and consumption layers.
- Architect solutions using Snowpark (Python / SQL) for:
- Advanced transformations.
- Deduplication / entity resolution.
- Custom processing inside Snowflake.
- Performance optimization.
- Cost management.
- Security & governance.
- Snowpipe, Tasks, Streams.
- Role‑based access control (RBAC).
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure:
- Architecture is implemented correctly.
- Non‑functional requirements are met.
- Support client discussions, architecture reviews, and solution walkthroughs. Required Skills & Experience Snowflake Core
- Deep expertise in Snowflake architecture.
- Solid understanding of:
- Virtual warehouses.
- Query optimization.
- Snowpark.
- Hands‑on experience with Snowpark (Python preferred).
- Ability to design Snowpark‑based processing for:
- Complex transformations.
- Custom logic not suited for pure SQL.
- Understanding of Snowpark performance considerations. Data Engineering & Architecture
- Robust background in:
- Data warehousing & lake house concepts.
- Data modeling.
- Experience with Azure cloud ecosystem. Client-Facing & Consulting
- Proven experience working directly with clients.
- Ability to:
- Explain trade‑offs clearly.
- Drive design decisions with confidence. Valuable to Have
- Experience with:
- Salesforce and Snowflake integrations.
