Cleaner - Day shift (Geelong)

Job Description Your new role: You will be responsible for ensuring that the factory and office environments in our Geelong facility are maintained in a clean and hygienic manner and that cleaning supplies are managed efficiently across the facilities. Day shift hours – Mondays to Fridays with a 6am start time. Your role will include ensuring:
- Factory and office are cleaned in accordance with daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
- All wet areas, bathrooms, sinks and benches are cleaned in accordance with the cleaning schedule.
- Areas are cleaned with appropriate cleaning agents and are wiped frequently to maintain a high standard of hygiene.
- Rubbish bins in office and shop floor areas are emptied into the appropriate waste bins.
- Shop floor surfaces are cleaned, including use of the floor scrubbing machine.
- Kitchens and lunch spaces are maintained and kept clean, including loading and unloading of dishwashers.
- Meeting rooms are cleaned and maintained in a tidy manner.
- Hygiene standards are maintained across office areas and high‑touch points are regularly disinfected and cleaned.
- Floors are swept, mopped and/or vacuumed in accordance with the daily and weekly cleaning schedule.
- All cleaning agents and chemicals are stored and maintained using secure handling methods.
- Floors are kept free of any spills. Desired Skills and Experience About You: As an ideal candidate you will have:
- Previous experience in cleaning within a factory and office environment.
- Ability to maintain daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
- Knowledge of safe handling and storage of cleaning agents and chemicals.
- Strong attention to detail.
