- Flexible hours available.
- More than 4 years of relevant work experience required. Duties & Responsibilities
- Supervise and direct staff as required.
- Liaise with management regarding jobs required.
- Read plans; perform welding, aluminium welding and fabrication tasks using MIG welding techniques.
- Undertake other fabrication work onsite as required.
- Ensure high-quality welding in the construction and repair of marine aluminium and steel vessels and capable of welding aluminium and steel vessels to required standards. Selection Criteria
- Relevant welding certificates and qualifications.
- Evidence of proven experience in a similar role with references.
- Preference for applicants with experience in commercial or large pleasure craft vessel construction.
- Hold “Working at Heights” and “Confined Spaces” tickets.
- Hold a current driver’s licence.
- Ability to work in a drug and alcohol-free workplace, with the understanding that random drug and alcohol testing may be required. Salary and Perks
