Lead Pre-Commissioning Engineer – Croydon (Croydon Shire)

Overview An opportunity has arisen within a forward-thinking water treatment company that supplies the full range of water treatment, legionella, pre‑commissioning, and commissioning services to a national client base. They are currently recruiting for a hardworking and professional Lead Pre‑Commissioning Engineer based in and around the Croydon area. The ideal applicant will come from a strong pre‑commissioning background and experience overseeing site staff and duties to BSRIA standards as well as chemical dosing and flushing duties. Consideration will be given to applications from Basingstoke, Reading, Watford, and the surrounding areas. Qualification & Experience
- Proven track record working within a Pre‑Commissioning / Flushing Engineer role
- Experience undertaking pre‑commissioning cleans to BSRIA standard
- Strong background in water treatment, chemical, technical, maintenance, educational, supervisory, and plumbing
- Previous experience supervising a team of Pre‑Commissioning/Flushing Engineers
- Experience creating quotations of works
- Good communication, organisational, client‑facing, people‑management and IT skills
- Well‑versed with the water industry and hands‑on experience in water treatment engineering Key Role
- Carrying out pre‑commissioning cleans to BSRIA standard
- Overseeing contractors, operatives and maintenance suppliers
- Undertaking site surveys and producing quotations of works
- Scheduling works
- Attending regular client meetings to provide updates
- Producing RAMS
- Planning labour and equipment required for each project
- Ensuring engineers work to relevant legislation
- Providing toolbox talks
