Maintenance Fitter – Afternoon Shift Location: Gepps Cross, SA | Employment Type: Full time | Shift: Afternoon (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM) About Us: Bianco Reinforcing is a leading producer of rebar and mesh products, proudly delivering quality steel reinforcing solutions to the construction industry. Our maintenance team plays a crucial role in keeping our operations running at peak performance, and we're looking for the right person to join them. About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Fitter to join our maintenance team on the afternoon shift. This is a hands-on role where you'll be responsible for keeping our industry-leading machinery running efficiently and reliably across our steel reinforcing production facility. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of machines used in steel reinforcing production
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement timely solutions to minimise downtime
- Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment
- Read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Collaborate with team members to priorities tasks and support production goals Requirements
- Trade qualification as a Maintenance Fitter or Maintenance Technician
- Strong mechanical aptitude with previous experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools for maintenance and repair tasks
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment What We Offer:
