LASERBOND®
Laser Cladding is a high performance additive manufacturing procedure which utilises precisely controlled energy from a high power laser. The laser metallurgically bonds material to the base material of a component, this provides a very high performance surface to parts for extended operating life.
**THE ROLE**
Due to continual growth LaserBond is searching for Laser Cladding Operator for the Laser Cladding section. This is a full time position based at the Cavan SA premises. This role offers a true one on one training experience that covers all aspects of the Laser Cladding process. You will gain hands on experience while completing internal training programs.
What will learn about as a Cladding Laser Operator?
- Different industrial components and how they can be reclaimed.
- Programming of robots and lasers via a computer control panel.
- Safe work methods and personal protective equipment.
This position does not require experience however a genuine interest in engineering is a must. You must also have a good mathematical understanding, mature mindset, willingness to be trained.
