**Position Summary**
The company is seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee and manage the end-to-end production and fabrication processes of insulated panel systems and temperature-controlled environments.
This role is responsible for ensuring efficient production operations, maintaining quality standards, and coordinating with internal teams to meet project timelines and business objectives.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Plan, organise and manage daily production operations to ensure efficient workflow and timely project delivery
- Oversee fabrication and assembly processes for insulated panels and related structures
- Monitor production schedules, resources, and output to meet project deadlines and cost targets
- Ensure compliance with Australian Standards, workplace health and safety regulations, and quality control procedures
- Coordinate closely with engineering, project management, and installation teams to align production with project requirements
- Manage inventory, materials procurement, and supplier coordination to support production needs
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, productivity, and product quality
- Supervise and lead production staff, including training, performance management, and workforce planning
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to minimise downtime
- Maintain accurate production records, reporting, and documentation
**Skills & Experience Required**
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a production or manufacturing management role
- Experience in fabrication, construction, refrigeration systems, or related industries highly regarded
- Strong understanding of production planning, quality control, and process optimisation
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements in an industrial environment
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
