About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Fitter to join our maintenance team on the afternoon shift. This is a hands-on role where you'll be responsible for keeping our industry-leading machinery running efficiently and reliably across our steel reinforcing production facility.

Key Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of machines used in steel reinforcing production Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement timely solutions to minimise downtime Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment Read and interpret technical manuals and schematics Collaborate with team members to priorities tasks and support production goals

Requirements Trade qualification as a Maintenance Fitter or Maintenance Technician Strong mechanical aptitude with previous experience in a similar role Proficiency in using hand and power tools for maintenance and repair tasks Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced workplace
