Butcher & Smallgoods Maker Cavan

Skara Smallgoods is an Australian owned and operated family business producing award winning quality charcuterie, using Australian pork and beef. Our company has been operating since 2007 and our products are sold nationally.

We are seeking current team members to join our boning/production team in producing premium award-winning smallgoods. Willingness to learn and be part of the team is essential.

This is a permanent, full-time position with an immediate start available.

Duties will include:

Knife Work.

Machinery operation.

Receipt, processing and batching of materials.

Smallgoods manufacturing processes.

Work to production and quality guidelines.

Work in a hands-on

small team environment.

You will have:

Qualification in butcher or experience in boning processing.

By physically fit and ability to work in a quick-paced environment.

Comfortably work in hot or cold environments.

Ability to read and understand instructions.

Possess a adaptable, can-do attitude and willingness to learn.

Understanding of food safety and quality assurance highly desirable.

Remuneration is at above award wages.
