**The Opportunity**

Our **Cavan**branch is on the lookout for a driven sales professional to join our high-performing team as a **Customer Support Representative.** This role will see you promoting market leading products across the quality Hitachi range through a mix of account management and business development. You will be responsible for partnering with and providing support to our Major Accounts and Regional South Australian customers.

**Your other responsibilities will include**:

- Establishing and maintaining successful working relationships with customers
- Promotion of the Hitachi range of parts and service solutions to achieve budgeted sales targets
- Undertake customer machine inspections with a high attention to detail
- Identify areas for business growth and develop suitable strategies to generate parts and service sales
- Efficiently liaise with current and potential customer base with accurate reporting of activity, sales, opportunities and market activity
- Working to a customer call cycle and actively building parts & service quotes tailored to customers’ needs
- Ensuring that all interactions with customers and internal stakeholders are conducted professionally and all requests are followed up as required

**To be successful in this role, you will need**:

- Previous sales experience is desirable but not essential
- Previous employment in the construction or earthmoving industry is ideal
- Genuine desire to deliver Hitachi's Promise of Total Customer Satisfaction as you develop and maintain positive relationships with customers
- A mechanical aptitude or trade background is desirable but not essential
- Confident, courteous and professional communication and presentation skills
- Self-motivated and the ability to work autonomously
- A current driver’s license and the ability to travel
