Crane Services is seeking a Qualified Welder to join our Precast Team, working on a variety of construction projects across Adelaide and surrounding areas. This is a site-based role working alongside our experienced installation crews, assisting with the erection and installation of precast concrete panels. About the Role The successful applicant will be responsible for welding connections associated with precast concrete panel installation, including:
- Welding cast-in plates and connection plates
- Structural fillet and butt welds to engineered specifications
- Temporary and permanent panel bracing connections
- On-site fit-up and modification works as required
- Reading and interpreting shop drawings and installation details
- Working closely with crane operators, riggers and dogmen during panel installation activities About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Trade qualifications in Welding/Fabrication
- Experience undertaking structural or construction welding
- The ability to read and interpret drawings
- A robust commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- The ability to work effectively within a team environment Desirable Qualifications The following licences and experience would be highly regarded:
- Dogman (DG) High Risk Work Licence
- Basic, Intermediate or Advanced Rigging Licence
- Experience in precast panel installation
- Working at Heights and EWP tickets What We Offer
