Overview Westgold Resources is shaping the future of gold mining in Western Australia. We are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team who shares our vision of building a sustainable and profitable major Australian gold business. Job type: full‑time, permanent position based at the Tuckabianna site (Cue). 8‑days on, 6‑days off roster with flying in company time. Flexible employment options include FIFO, DIDO and residential opportunities in Meekatharra & Cue. Modern camps feature ensuite rooms and fully equipped gyms. Responsibilities
- Lead by example to promote professionalism, safety and consistent standards across site operations.
- Drive improved plant performance through high‑quality, secure and efficient maintenance practices.
- Foster a positive, collaborative culture within the maintenance team and across site departments.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve people capability, processes, systems and cost control.
- Coach, develop and performance‑manage Maintenance Supervisors to maximise team effectiveness.
- Plan and execute fixed plant maintenance and shutdowns to a high standard with optimised processes.
- Set clear goals and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure schedule compliance and asset reliability.
- Ensure adequate labour, materials and resources are available for planned and breakdown maintenance.
- Liaise effectively with procurement, stores and logistics to manage inventory and material availability.
- Promote strong safety, health and environmental practices, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement. Qualifications
- Current “C” Class Manual Western Australian driver’s licence.
- Minimum 5years’ experience in a similar role effectively leading and managing a fixed plant maintenance team.
- Relevant trade qualification.
- Shutdown planning and managing experience.
- Sound working knowledge of processing plants – crushing, milling, gravity, leaching, and reagent circuits; and associated infrastructure.
- Comprehensive understanding of maintenance practices and procedures.
- Experience in submitting Capital Expenditure Requests (CERs).
- Experience with a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) such as Pronto (desirable).
- Proficient Microsoft Office skills.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
- Solid communication skills, with the ability to build strong, collaborative, and successful working relationships with your team.
