Cleaner (Carnamah)

Cleaner Carnamah District High School is seeking a hardworking, diligent, and adaptable cleaner to join their team. The position is a 3‑month fixed‑term, part‑time (0.75FTE) role commencing Term2,2026, with possible extension. Salary is $1,256.20–$1,275.80 per week (pro‑rata). The Role As a cleaner, you will play a vital role in ensuring the school is a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for staff, students, and community members.
- Carry out internal cleaning duties, including maintenance of carpets and hard floor surfaces, toilet cleaning, furniture and fittings, dusting, rubbish removal, and general cleaning.
- Perform external cleaning duties such as covering area cleaning, rubbish removal, cleaning drinking troughs, window cleaning, cobweb removal, and other general cleaning.
- Execute vacation cleaning duties including stripping and sealing vinyl floors, window cleaning, carpet shampooing, pressure cleaning of verandas and undercover areas, and other duties as required by the Cleaner in Charge. Eligibility To work with us you must:
- Obtain a valid Working With Children Check.
- Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before starting.
- Be an Australian or NewZealand citizen, permanent resident, or hold a valid visa with work rights for the term of appointment.
