**NDIS Support Worker**

Our focus is on assisting our Participants with disabilities to reach their goals by helping them to participate in community activities and to become independent in their home. We are sensitive to cultural and family needs and make every effort to provide comfort, safety, and dignity.

**Tasks & responsibilities**
- Provide quality direct support to participants in line with their support needs, the program they are accessing, and all support plans including the service users Individual Plan.
- Assist with daily activities( ie showering, toileting.etc)
- Household tasks, and development of their capacities.
- Community support
- Assist with shopping, walks, and other activities with participants.
- Provide transport using personal vehicle
- Create case notes of the shifts to improve our services to participants.
- Establish qualified rapport and collaborate effectively with participants and families to reach their personal and NDIS goals

**Skills and Experience**

We love to hear from experienced Support Workers,with certificate IIII or IV in Individual support and experience.

As an NDIS funded organisation, we will also need you to have or be willing to obtain the following:

- Prior experience supporting clients with disabilities (highly desirable)
- Relevant nationally recognised qualification( highly desirable)
- Current Driver’s License and comprehensive car insurance, plus own reliable transport
- Experience working with Culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) participants
- Current working with children
- Current Paid employee Yellow Card/NDIS Worker Clearance.
- Current First Aid & CPR
- NDIS 'Worker Orientation' module (or willing to obtain before employment)
- Full Australian working rights
- Smart phone with internet access
- Two current professional references from a supervisor will be required

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $35.15
- $65.00 per hour

- Italian and English (required)

- First Aid Certification (required)
- Working with Children Check (required)
- National Police Certificate (required)
