Job Description Rembrandt Living is currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Support Workers with aged care experience across all areas of Adelaide Metro, Adelaide Hills and the Fleurieu Peninsula to provide services and assistance for elderly clients at their place of residence, to increase independence and autonomy. By prioritising individual needs, you will deliver top-tier support to our clients and embody Rembrandt Living's core values in all aspects of your work. This includes:
- Assisting with services such as personal care, transport, general house cleaning, and shopping.
- Fostering a positive and inclusive environment that promotes independence and community engagement.
- Following individualised care plans
- Ongoing training and development opportunities.
- A supportive and friendly team working environment. Job Requirements To be successful in this role, you must;
- Hold a Certificate III in Individual Support or Aged Care is essential for Support Workers
- Be compassionate, empathetic, and caring in nature with a genuine interest in respecting the uniqueness of each individual, as well as their wants and needs.
- Have experience working in Aged Care in the community
- Adhere to safe work practices and Rembrandt Policies
- Have excellent communication skills
- as an organisation that supports culturally and linguistically diverse care recipients, we equally support a culturally and linguistically diverse workforce.
- Have a willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical.
- Current Australian Driver’s licence and a registered and roadworthy vehicle with Comprehensive Car Insurance.
- Current CPR and First Aid Certificate is essential

- Support clients in achieving their goals as outlined in their person-centred plans.
- Assist with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
- Monitor clients' health and well-being, reporting any changes to supervisors.
- Provide safe and reliable transportation for clients to appointments and activities.
- Uphold the dignity, privacy, and rights of clients at all times.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with organisational policies.
