Machine Operator Needed
- Immediate Start at Gladstone

Reporting to the Yard Manager, you will join a agile team responsible for sorting, grading, purchasing, and processing scrap metal using various types of heavy equipment. This is a full-time position with an immediate start available.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

Operate the 30T Excavator and/or Material Handlers to load/unload trucks, skips, bins, trailers, and break down to process large used steel items for recycling.

Accurately grade and sort scrap metal materials.

Maintain a protected and tidy site in compliance with all OH&S; policies and environmental guidelines.

To Be Successful In This Opportunity, You Will Have

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

A can-do attitude and a willingness to learn and build current skills through training.

Excellent attendance, reliability, and attention to detail.

An Excavator ticket and a minimum of 5 years of operational experience (essential).

Material Handler experience using five-grapple and other shear operations (desirable).
