Senior Project Manager (Gladstone Central)

McCosker are inviting applications from experienced Senior Project Managers to join our growing team. Reporting to the Construction Manager, this is a key leadership position responsible for supporting the delivery of McCosker’s project portfolio, acting as the critical link between the Construction Manager and our Project Manager cohort. This role is suited to a seasoned civil construction skilled who leads by example, thrives in civil construction, and is committed to delivering structures and earthworks projects safely, on time, and to the highest standard. This position will:
- Support the Construction Manager in overseeing project delivery across all active projects.
- Drive consistent standards in safety, quality, and commercial performance across the portfolio.
- Provide hands-on coaching and support to Project Managers and their teams.
- Monitor project financials, identify risks, and escalate issues proactively.
- Contribute to tender preparation and commercial strategy. Experience and Skills
- 10+ years of experience in civil construction and project management.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent projects or supporting portfolio delivery.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret and act on project financial performance.
- Proven leadership capability, including developing and supporting Project Managers.
- Effective communicator with the ability to engage clients, stakeholders, and project teams at all levels.
- Industry-recognised qualification in Project Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
