Join our team as a Training Coordinator (internally known as a People Development Coordinator). Are you driven by the opportunity to make a real difference? This role isn’t just about training, it’s about driving growth, fostering a culture of learning, and helping our people achieve their full potential. This is a Monday to Friday role, working from 7:00 AM to 3:00/3:30 PM. Why This Role is for You
- Variety: You’ll coordinate training, manage development programs, and help ensure the team has the skills they need to succeed.
- Leadership : Take the lead on training initiatives, support onboarding, and coordinate traineeship and apprenticeship programs.
- Impact : Help build a team that’s skilled, engaged, and always learning. As People Development Coordinator, you will:
- Maintain accurate training records and ensure compliance requirements are met.
- Coordinate training and development activities for our Gladstone team.
- Coordinate key training programs including Traineeships and Apprenticeships.
- Collaborate with leaders to align development activities with site capability needs.
- Support leaders to direct their people queries to the right place.
- Forecast and develop the annual training budget.
- Partner with leaders in the development and mentoring of apprentices and trainees.
- Support leaders with onboarding new employees.
- Organise site events and initiatives that bring the team together.
- Provide administrative support, such as document management. What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience (5+ years) in learning & development, or training compliance, ideally within manufacturing.
- Diploma qualification in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Organisational Development or equivalent (preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially solid Excel skills (preferred).
- Familiarity with Learning Management System (LMS) platforms and supporting onboarding and development activities (preferred, but not essential).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- High attention to detail, with strong data integrity and document control awareness.
