- The Eastern Health Physiotherapy Student Clinical Educator is responsible for the co-ordination and management of the undergraduate Physiotherapy Learning and Teaching programs across all Eastern Health sites.- The incumbent will liaise with key personnel at the relevant Universities, Campus Clinical Co-ordinators, the Eastern Health Physiotherapy Qualified Management Team and the Eastern Health Associate Director, Learning and Teaching
- Pre-registration Program, to ensure all governance and clinical requirements of the Physiotherapy Student program are met in accordance with the terms of the collaboration agreement between Eastern Health and the Education Providers and the requirements and recommendations of the Department of Health.**About you** To be successful in this role you will possess:
- Recognised tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy
- Current registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia
- Eligibility for practicing membership of the Australian Physiotherapy Association
- Significant knowledge and experience in providing supervision, mentoring and support to learners
- Demonstrated organisational and planning skills with strong attention to detail
- Experience in the provision and support of clinical education
- experience of quality improvement, research processes and commitment to achieving best practice professional clinical standards
- Demonstrated Clinical Leadership with the demonstrated ability to inspire, influence and motivate staff and to contribute to and foster a positive learning culture
- Advanced interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication, leadership and conflict management, in order to facilitate effective team functioning
Vaccination against infectious disease is a mandatory requirement of this role. An offer of employment is conditional on you providing evidence that you are currently vaccinated against COVID-19 with booster & Influenza, prior to commencing employment.**What we offer**
