About the Role Are you a highly organised project professional who loves turning plans into action? Do you want to use your skills to make a tangible difference in animal welfare? RSPCA Victoria is embarking on a significant operational and structural transition to streamline how animals are brought into our shelter care. We are seeking a structured, proactive, and collaborative Project Coordinator to support the delivery of this strategic initiative. Reporting to the Change Manager, you will track progress, maintain documentation, and support our passionate Animal and Customer Care teams through practical, people-focused change. This is a fast-paced role with a strong focus on governance, execution, and maintaining momentum to deliver outcomes within the contract period. Key Responsibilities In this role, you will bridge the gap between strategic planning and on-the-ground execution. Your day-to-day will involve:
- Project Driving & Governance: Track progress closely against milestones, manage dependencies, and proactively handle follow-ups to keep the project moving.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the central point of contact for project stakeholders, facilitating seamless communication and resolving issues between project and operational teams.
- Documentation Excellence: Maintain airtight project documentation, including schedules, risk/issue logs, work instructions, and status reports.
- Change & Capability Support: Assist with identifying change impacts, engaging operational teams, and developing training content to ensure smooth adoption of new ways of working.
- Reporting & Escalation: Identify delivery risks early and provide concise, outcome-focused updates and recommendations to project leaders and senior stakeholders. Is this role for you?
