Our client is a well-established water treatment company that provides a variety of skilled water treatment/water hygiene services to clients throughout the UK. Due to recent growth, they are recruiting for an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer to service a varied portfolio of clients in and around the Liverpool area. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and extensive experience delivering water hygiene duties inline with ACOP L8. Some experience in basic plumbing would be advantageous but not essential. Consideration will be given to applicants from Warrington, Birkenhead, St Helens, Widnes and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications

Hands on experience working as a water hygiene engineer within the water treatment/water hygiene industry.

A valuable working knowledge of current water industry guidelines.

Excellent communication skills.

IT literate.

Key Role

Carry out cleaning, disinfection and chlorination on both hot and cold water systems and cooling towers.

Undertake temperature monitoring, conducting routine sampling and analysing water systems.

Install and maintain dosing systems.

Maintenance and servicing of TMVs.

Cleaning and disinfection of CWSTs.

Showerhead cleaning.

Maintain and build a positive working relationship with the company’s portfolio of clients.
