About the Opportunity We are looking for a collaborative and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Officer to join our Finance team in Prestons, NSW. Reporting to the AR & Claims Supervisor, you will play a key role in supporting our customers and internal teams by ensuring timely collections and maintaining accurate accounts. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and working as part of a supportive and high-performing team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing daily banking allocations and processing payments
- Following up outstanding invoices and supporting collection activities
- Resolving claims, discrepancies, and account queries
- Completing reconciliations and maintaining accurate account records
- Supporting customers with documentation (invoices, PODs, statements)
- Monitoring accounts and proactively reducing outstanding balances
- Collaborating with Sales, Warehouse, and Claims teams to resolve issues
- Supporting month-end activities and team targets
- Assisting with process improvements and ad hoc tasks What we’re looking for We’re looking for someone who brings a mix of attention to detail, communication skills, and a willingness to learn and grow. You will ideally have:
- Experience in Accounts Receivable or a similar finance role
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Confidence working with Excel and Microsoft Office
- Experience with ERP systems (MOVEX or similar is a plus)
