Professional Water Treatment Company are currently recruiting a Water Hygiene Engineer for a mixed portfolio of contracts across the North West. Applicants should have solid legionella compliance experience and ideally have worked on cooling towers. The role offers regional work with a valuable work-life balance.

Geographic Accessibility

Consideration will be given to candidates with easy access to the M6 and M62, including locations such as Bolton, Preston, Blackpool, Burnley, and many others across the region.

Experience & Qualifications

Demonstrable knowledge of legionella compliance.

Experience carrying out water hygiene / monitoring duties to ACoP L8 guidelines.

Ideally experience working on cooling towers.

Able to work independently or as part of a team.

Full UK driving licence.

Duties

Temperature monitoring.

Legionella sampling.

Work on commercial and industrial sites on domestic hot and cold-water systems.

Showerhead descales.

Calorifier flushing.

Cleaning & disinfection of storage tanks.

Cooling tower cleans and disinfections.

TMV inspection, testing and servicing.

CWST inspections.

Basic remedial works when required.
