Event Crew (Prestons)

NPM Events are looking for enthusiastic and energetic people to join our growing crew! We provide services for clients which can include Corporate Events, Weddings, Christmas Parties. If it can be celebrated, we will be there! To be successful for the role you must have flexibility to work late nights (event bump outs are typically around midnight!) and early mornings. Weekends are required. Casual staff can also expect up to 20-30 hours per week during peak. You will also require a VALID driver's licence and able to drive our vehicles and also hired vehicles. To be considered for this role you will be required to:
- Accurately load equipment in vehicles ensuring that the quality & condition of the product is ALWAYS maintained.
- Deliver and collect allocated equipment
- Unload and set up equipment including assisting other crew with heavy lifting
- Complete all post-event administration tasks and paperwork involved with the hire process
- Maintain relationships with clients & venue owners by providing support, information, and excellent customer service at all times.
- Picking and packing customer orders at our HQ in Prestons. Qualifications and Skills
- Physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting
- Flexibility to work late nights, early mornings and most weekends.
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team setting.
- Well-spoken and be able to communicate clearly with guests and vendors.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and care factor in handling fragile items.
- Be trustworthy, personable and well presented
- Have valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
