About the Role We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Medical Receptionist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting and can confidently manage front desk operations while supporting the wider clinical team. Key Responsibilities
- Managing patient bookings, arrivals, and enquiries
- Maintaining accurate patient records using Medical Director software
- Handling billing, Medicare claims, and EFTPOS transactions
- Coordinating with doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals
- Supporting daily practice operations
- Mentoring and supporting junior reception staff Essential Criteria
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Senior Medical Receptionist role within general practice (required)
- Proven experience using Medical Director software
- Strong communication, organisational, and customer service skills
- Excellent multitasking ability
- Leadership and teamwork capabilities
