HVACR Mechanical Engineer / Estimator

Looking for a seasoned skilled About the role We are seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineer / Estimator to join our team based in Prestons. This full-time role will see you supporting our Commercial Projects division, working across HVAC & Refrigeration and Mechanical services projects throughout Sydney and NSW, from tender through to delivery. While this is primarily an office based role, some travel maybe required to project sites or our Port Macquarie or Brisbane office. Learn more about us: ???? Package

- $120k plus Super Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, tenders and project submissions
- Review drawings, specifications and project requirements
- Obtain pricing from suppliers and subcontractors
- Assist with project planning, procurement and delivery
- Assist our commercial service department with tendering, estimating and mechanical engineering support
- Provide engineering support across the project lifecycle
- Liaise with clients, consultants and internal teams
- Contribute to design coordination and technical documentation
- Maintain accurate project records and reporting About You
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services (or similar)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in estimating for air conditioning, refrigeration or mechanical engineering projects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail with good organisational ability
- Confident communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Keen and proactive, ensuring to build client relationships, follow up and hunt for new work Desirable (but not essential)
- Site experience, working with technicians, builder meetings, site measures
- Exposure to Australian estimating or tendering processes
- Revit or Cad drafting experience
- Familiarity with Australian standards and construction practices What We Offer
