Due to continued growth within the business, we are introducing a newly created Warehouse Manager position to strengthen our operations team and support the next phase of expansion. - General Manager (projects, performance outcomes, and future business improvements) Location Bravofoods Portioning Facility Position Overview The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily warehouse operation across multiple shifts and team members. This role will lead a team of Storemen working staggered start and finish times ranging from approximately 2:00am through to afternoon operations. The successful candidate will ensure the warehouse operation runs efficiently, accurately, safely, and proactively to support production, picking, portioning, packing, and dispatch functions. This role requires a hands-on leader who can identify daily operational priorities, allocate labour effectively, maintain strong stock accuracy, and ensure the warehouse is consistently set up for operational success. Due to the structure of the warehouse team, this role requires an early start time of approximately 4:00am–5:00am to ensure overlap and leadership coverage across all direct reports. The standard roster for this role will operate Monday to Saturday:
- Monday to Friday: Approximately 4:00am/5:00am start with standard operational hours
- Saturday: 5:00am – 9:30am This is a newly created role with significant opportunity to help shape and grow the warehouse operation as the business continues to expand. Key Responsibilities Warehouse Operations
- Oversee all daily warehouse activities including receipting, putaways, replenishment, stock rotation, picking support, inventory management, and dispatch preparation
- Ensure warehouse operations are organised to support production and dispatch requirements
- Coordinate workflow across multiple warehouse shifts and staggered start times
- Ensure warehouse presentation, cleanliness, and food safety standards are maintained at all times
- Monitor freezer and chilled stock movements and storage practices
- Oversee inbound receivals including supplier deliveries, booking management, temperature checks, and receipting accuracy
- Ensure warehouse readiness is maintained to support next-day production, picking, portioning, and packing teams Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop warehouse staff across varying shifts
- Allocate daily tasks and ensure workloads are completed efficiently
- Conduct labour planning including rostering, overtime management, and labour allocation
- Coordinate agency or casual labour requirements where necessary
- Create accountability and structure within the warehouse team
- Conduct performance management, coaching, and ongoing training where required
- Foster a positive, safety-focused team culture
- Conduct toolbox talks and reinforce operational and safety expectations Inventory & Systems Management
- Maintain high levels of inventory accuracy using Triton inventory management systems
- Ensure all scanning procedures and stock movements are completed correctly
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions
- Work closely with Operations and Production teams to ensure stock availability and traceability
- Utilise warehouse systems and reporting tools to improve operational performance
- Maintain accurate warehouse reporting including stock variances, productivity tracking, and operational performance metrics
- Analyse stock movements, waste, and shrinkage to identify improvement opportunities Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all workplace health and safety requirements
- Promote safe manual handling and forklift operating practices
- Ensure Chain of Responsibility (CoR) obligations are understood and maintained
- Manage incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions where required
- Support HACCP, food safety, and quality assurance requirements across the warehouse operation Cross-Functional Coordination
- Liaise closely with Production, Procurement, Sales, Customer Service, and Transport teams to ensure operational alignment
- Ensure communication between departments supports efficient workflow and customer service outcomes
- Work collaboratively with management to support business growth and operational improvements Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes, efficiencies, and workflow
- Assist with operational projects and warehouse development initiatives
- Help implement systems, procedures, and operational improvements as the business continues to grow
- Support future scalability and structure of the warehouse operation Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Timely completion of warehouse reporting and operational tasks Skills & Experience Required Essential
- Previous experience in a warehouse leadership or supervisory role
- Strong computer literacy and experience using warehouse/inventory management systems
- Experience using Triton or similar inventory systems
- Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP or equivalent platforms
- Strong understanding of inventory control and stock rotation practices
- Experience managing teams across multiple shifts and varying start times
- Strong organisational, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment
- Excellent communication and team leadership capability
- Strong attention to detail and accountability Desirable
- Experience within food manufacturing, meat processing, FMCG, or cold-chain logistics
- Forklift licence
- Understanding of HACCP and food safety standards
- Experience implementing warehouse process improvements
