In this vital role, you’ll ensure our fleet complies with all regulatory standards, performing high-quality electrical repairs and maintenance while upholding a safe and professional working environment. Your work is essential to keeping public transport moving efficiently across New South Wales.
What You’ll Do
Conducting routine servicing of electrical systems across the fleet
Completing unscheduled repairs and maintenance tasks
Attending breakdowns and performing timely repairs to return buses to service
Conducting pre-inspections for RMS compliance
Repairing or replacing changeover components as needed
Following company policies on Health & Safety, Quality Assurance, and Equal Opportunity
Assisting with additional duties to support depot operations
This role requires precision, problem-solving, and a strong safety focus to ensure buses remain reliable for daily operations.
What We’re Looking For
Relevant Trade Certificate in Auto Electrical or related field
Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Current MR or HR driver’s license preferred (or willingness to obtain)
Experience with Fleet Maintenance Management systems is desirable
Knowledge of mechanical hydraulics and pneumatics a plus
Prior experience with heavy vehicles is advantageous but not essential
Willingness to undergo pre-employment medical, criminal history, and drug/alcohol screening
