Job description

We are seeking a medical receptionist to join our team. You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and productive running of our practice and providing administrative support to our medical professionals. The successful candidate must be confident in managing day-to-day administrative responsibilities autonomously.

Key Responsibilities: Front Desk Duties and General clinic upkeep First point of contact for patients (phone and email) Managing high volumes of calls emails and responding to queries Scheduling appointments and follow-up visits Handling confidential medical information with discretion and professionalism Adapting quickly to daily practice needs and prioritising tasks efficiently Undertake administrative tasks, including typing reports, filing and managing correspondence Processing CTP, worker’s comp and insurance claims Hospital Billing Liaising with healthcare providers Managing clinical documentation, printing and scanning

Skills & Experience: Previous experience as a medical receptionist preferred Skilled, compassionate and patient-focused approach Solid organization, attention to detail and multitasking skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in MS Office Suite Australian citizenship or PR is required for this position

Pay: $28.00 – $34.00 per hour
