About the Role

As our Chef, you will be a vital part of the kitchen line, executing our popular breakfast and lunch menu with consistency and speed. This is a hands-on role where you’ll ensure every plate leaving the pass meets our high standards for taste, presentation, and quality.

Key Responsibilities Section Mastery: Confidently manage and run key kitchen sections, including the grill, larder, and plating stations, during peak rushes. Menu Execution: Prepare and cook high-volume breakfast and lunch orders with precision, maintaining portion control and consistent presentation. Mise-en-Place: Manage daily food preparation and ensure your station is fully stocked, clean, and organised for service. Kitchen Operations: Assist with opening and closing procedures, maintaining strict compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations. Teamwork: Work collaboratively with the other chefs and front-of-house team to keep docket times low and service smooth.

What We Are Looking For Experience: Proven experience as a Chef or Line Cook in a busy, high-volume cafe or restaurant workplace. Speed & Stamina: The ability to work quickly, stay focused, and maintain a positive attitude under the pressure of a heavy morning rush. Technical Skill: Solid knife skills, a solid understanding of cooking techniques, and an eye for clean, up-to-date presentation. Reliability: A punctual, dependable team player with excellent communication skills and full availability for early morning starts and weekend rosters.
