About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Medical Receptionist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting and can confidently manage front desk operations while supporting the wider clinical team.

Key Responsibilities Managing patient bookings, arrivals, and enquiries Maintaining accurate patient records using Medical Director software Handling billing, Medicare claims, and EFTPOS transactions Coordinating with doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals Supporting daily practice operations Mentoring and supporting junior reception staff

Essential Criteria Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Senior Medical Receptionist role within general practice (required) Proven experience using Medical Director software Strong communication, organisational, and customer service skills Excellent multitasking ability Leadership and teamwork capabilities Skilled presentation
