Joinery Estimator or Trainee Estimator (Liverpool)

We are a high quality joinery company with a strong reputation amongst our clients. Established in 1997, we are rapidly expanding and currently have a team who undertake projects all over NSW, QLD, ACT and WA. We are seeking a qualified Cabinetmaker/Joiner looking to make a change and willing to learn. Duties will include but will not be limited to:
- Reading and interpreting architectural drawings
- Compiling and sending quotes
- Liaising with suppliers and obtaining competitive market pricing
- Assisting to achieve and exceed sales targets
- High level customer service and consistent follow up
- Keeping up with market trends The following skills and attributes are essential:
- Qualified Estimator with a cabinetmaker/shopfitter trade background and experience in architectural joinery OR
- A qualified Cabinetmaker/Joiner (or just completing your 4th year at a minimum)
- The ability to read and interpret architectural drawings
- High attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Team player
- Work well under pressure
- Willingness to learn and adopt current processes and ideas along with voicing your own ideas
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong ability to multi-task and time manage effectively
- Good computer skills including: Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
