The Communications Manager will lead SPHERE's communication strategy to amplify the impact of SPHERE's research, clinical innovation, and partnership activities. The role will strengthen SPHERE's visibility, supports strategic engagement with partners and stakeholders, and ensures clear, timely, and effective communication across digital, internal, and external channels.
- Offers candidates the chance to contribute to a nationally recognised partnership improving health outcomes, shaping system‑wide innovation, and supporting research that directly influences the future of healthcare across Sydney.
- Drive SPHERE’s communications to elevate the impact of its research and clinical innovation, strengthening visibility and engagement through clear, timely and effective messaging across digital, internal and external channels.
- Promote awareness and engagement in SPHERE's strategic direction by working with internal and external publications, including website content, social media and written content. Are You the Right Fit?
The ideal candidate should have a variety of skills that should assist in managing different internal and stakeholders whilst also advocating for partnerships that align with SPHERE's core values.

- Experience with Digital Tools
- The ideal candidate should have experience in a number of digital tools that will allow them to engage in the role, such as; Wordpress, Canva, Mailchimp, Coda, Notion and/or Eventbrite. Selection Criteria

- Qualifications in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in strategic communications within research, health, or higher education sectors.
- Experience managing websites, social media, and digital content systems.
