About the Role We’re seeking an experienced Vet Nurse Manager to join our Hobart team on a full‑time, 9‑month maternity cover and provide robust leadership while continuing hands‑on clinical nursing. This position offers approximately 30 hours per week of dedicated administration and leadership time, with the option to pick up additional clinical nursing shifts. Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and support the nursing team day‑to‑day
- Oversee rostering, workflow, and staffing coordination
- Maintain high clinical and operational standards
- Support team engagement, wellbeing, and professional development
- Assist with recruitment, training, and performance management
- Contribute to policy implementation, WHS compliance, and a positive team culture Qualifications
- Experienced veterinary nurse with strong leadership and organisational skills
