Their Gold Coast, Queensland location has been a hub for high-quality food manufacturing services and gourmet products.

We are currently seeking a machine operator/production preparation team member to join our busy, fast paced factory.

Working in a small fast-paced team, this role will include duties such as:

- Effectively set up work area and operate packing machines to the required targeted output per shift
- Perform product and machine part changeovers as required
- Feed/change raw material to ensure continuous operation of machine
- Trouble shoot and fix issues that might occur during the shift
- Work area and machine are kept clean throughout shift
- Assist other team members in the production/packing of goods
- Accurately complete documentation and record data in accordance with internal policies, procedures, and food safety requirements
- Effective weighing accuracy of goods
- Manage ingredient stock to maintain expected quality standards, stock levels and report any requirements to team leaders

What we are looking for:

- TAFE or courses related to mechanical studies or manufacturing preferred
- Paxon Italian Pack II Machine experience preferred but not essential
- People Management skills preferred
- Proven experience working in food and beverage manufacturing industry or packing line machinery
- Understanding of production procedures and adherence to health and safety regulations
- Ability to work effectively in a team and have strong communication skills
- High degree of problem solving skills and mechanical aptitude
- A degree of physical stamina and strength to undertake manual and repetitive tasks as this role requires you to be able to lift up to 25kg, carry and move products around the factory
- Someone reliable with own transport
- A willingness to learn
- A cooperative team player with a can-do attitude
- Knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices (desirable)
- Ability to read and follow specific recipes
- Multitask with effective time management
- A keen eye for detail and to be proactive to minimize downtime

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.80 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
- Rotating roster

- Molendinar, QLD 4214: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
