Full-Time | Afternoon & Night Shift Available Location: North-East Suburbs, SA About the Opportunity Volley Recruit is partnering with a high-performing advanced manufacturing business based in Adelaide’s north-east, currently experiencing strong growth and investment in cutting-edge technologies. The Role Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you will play a key role in the end-to-end machining and programming process. Your responsibilities will include:
- Setting up and operating CNC machines to manufacture precision components
- Creating and optimising CAM programs to meet engineering specifications
- Interpreting technical drawings, blueprints and job instructions
- Monitoring machining processes and making real-time adjustments to ensure quality output
- Troubleshooting issues across the production cycle and recommending improvements
- Driving continuous improvement and identifying more efficient manufacturing methods
- Maintaining equipment and ensuring machines are operating at optimal performance
- Upholding a clean, safe and organised workspace
- Collaborating with team members to deliver on production targets and timelines We’re looking for motivated and detail-oriented machinists/programmers who take pride in their craft. Qualifications You will ideally have:
- Trade qualification in Mechanical Engineering or similar
- Proven experience operating CNC machinery and/or CAM programming
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Solid work ethic and reliability
