Provide Student Care in a Dynamic College Setting Are you passionate about supporting student wellbeing, building strong connections with families, and ensuring compliance across key student services? We’re seeking a Student Services Officer to join our committed team and make a real difference in the lives of students every day. This is a five day per week, term-time only position operating Monday to Friday during school terms. About the Role Student Services plays a pivotal role in supporting the holistic care and management of students. This position acts as a key communication link between students, staff and families, ensuring student support, attendance compliance and first aid response. You’ll join a small team and be supported by the Student Services Coordinator, Compliance Coordinator and Workplace Health and Safety Advisor. Key Responsibilities ???? Student Attendance Compliance & Administration
- Oversee daily student attendance tracking and follow-ups via Edumate
- Ensure accurate recording of late arrivals, early departures, and absences
- Communication with families and staff regarding attendance
- Support teachers, including first aid and medical preparation for excursions and camps. ???? Health Room & First Aid
- Provide first aid response
- Administer medication in line with QLD and federal legislation ???? Behaviour Development
- Provide a safe space for students in need of de-escalation
- Support staff in managing student behaviour and re-engagement

- Current First Aid and CPR Certification
- Demonstrated administration skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A proactive, compassionate, and solutions-focused mindset
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and families
- Eligibility to hold a Blue Card (Working with Children Check) Applicants must be:
- an Australian Citizen or
- a permanent resident or
