**The Opportunity**

We have a excellent opportunity for an experienced **Trades Assistant** to join our **Mining Assembly** team based in **Wacol**. In this role, you will build on your existing **mechanical skills, responsible for providing general workshop assistance to our skilled trades people**. This permanent role will allow you to access OEM training while you build a long-term career in a global company.

**About the role**
- Providing support to the service technicians in the Mining Assembly workshop
- Checking and storage of components and consumables delivered to the assembly facility
- Maintain a high level of accuracy when carrying out final quality assurance inspections
- Working in a safe and tidy manner
- safety takes priority over everything else

**About You**
- Have mechanical experience and/or aptitude
- Basic computer skills
- Current Drivers Licence
- Highly _desirable_ to have additional licenses such as Forklift Licence rigging/dogging, working at heights.
